As there would need to be infrastructural changes which hold a financial cost and are out of my jurisdiction, I have only been able to render and create hypothetical changes, using digital rendering tools and technology.

These designs are all based off of student feedback gathered within this action research project. I propose that using fabrics, we create separation to offer privacy to staff and students that wish to use this space. Initially I thought it could be quite special to embroider certain visual motifs onto these fabrics, however I learned that for some faiths, visual drawings aren’t allowed within a space of worship. So keeping it simple is key. Removing any tables and chairs. And creating comfortable floor seating for everyone would be best. I truly believe these simple changes, would create a space that is more inviting, and actually allows for its intended purpose.
